Job Demands Visits And Analysis
Work site visits are performed to accurately assess the individual client’s work demands. The analysis is performed on-site with the worker and employer providing input in the documentation of specific work demands. There are 2 levels of documentation available and reports are submitted within 5 business days.
Job Demands Analysis (JDA)
- A comprehensive ergonomic analysis of a workstation.
- Interview with employer and worker on-site.
- Ergonomic recommendations suggested to aid in decreasing the likelihood of injury or re-injury.
- Ergonomic suggestions made to aid an injured worker in returning to a specific workstation.
- Accurate description of tasks associated with each function.
Further breakdown of component activities of a task with respect to:
- Frequency
- Weight and Forces
- Posture/Positioning
- Repetition
- Work organization
- Temperature
- Vibration
- Contact pressure

- Comprehensive documentation of all demands required at work.
- Preventing re-injury to injured workers returning to work.
- Identifying work duties for injured workers returning to work.
- Setting up graduated return to work schedules.
- Prescribing job simulation activities for injured workers attending therapy.
- Employers to compile a set of job descriptions for human resources.
Job Site Visits (JSV)
- An on-site ergonomic assessment focussing on identifying and confirming critical job demands of a specific workstation or work environment.
